                Funding

At Making Music we recognise that fundraising can be one of the most daunting tasks an arts organisation undertakes. Though Making Music is not itself a grant giving  body we do try to offer help & advice to members on potential sources of funding. Any funds  and deadlines that we are made aware of are posted regularly in the news section of this site.

It is usually necessary to go to more than one source for the money you want. You will also need to show that you are legally constituted, or at the very least, have a well thought out governing document. Additionally you will need to show your organisation has policies and is taking action to address equal opportunities and cultural diversity issues.

A number of useful funding contacts are listed below. Again we do also try to keep members updated on additional sources of funding, as they become available, through the news section of this site.
