Making Music Wales

Making Music Wales is the voluntary committee representing Welsh members of Making Music.

Our aim is to provide a service to both promote Making Music's objectives and support our members' activities. We keep in touch on a regular basis by means of personal contact and by publishing a newsletter rostrum and website to help members achieve their ambitions.

Our membership covers a broad spectrum of amateur musical activities. Naturally in Wales, choral singing predominates - this now includes variants such as barbershop - but the range covers orchestras, music societies and music promoters. We are keen to see any organisation involved in amateur music making avail themselves of the benefits of Making Music.

We organise workshops, area meetings and training sessions in order to fulfil the objectives of Making Music and are currently involved in implementing the "Five Years Five Aims" strategic plan in Wales.
