123sing! Cymru at the Wales Millennium Centre
This October, Making Music Wales and Ty Cerdd, in association with Classic FM, are inviting brass musicians and singers from across Wales to come together at the iconic Wales Millennium Centre, in a national celebration of the proud Welsh traditions of music making and song.
Taking place on Sunday October 2nd 123sing! Cymru is a free event, wholly aimed at offering as many Welsh music makers as possible the opportunity to come together in music and song - in the capital of The Land of Song! - and collectively raise the profile of singing and voluntary music in Wales. Everyone is welcome to participate, either as individuals or in groups.
The performance will take place in the Glanfa area of the Millennium Centre at 2:00pm on Sunday October 2. All brass players and vocalists from across Wales are invited to perform as part of the massed brass band and massed choir that will assemble, under the direction of a variety of leading conductors, in a traditional Cymanfa Ganu / Welsh singing festival, style event.
Repertoire will consist wholly of Welsh music, and this music is available to download & print free, courtesy of Ty Cerdd and Making Music, from this website. Printed copies are also available for collection, by prior arrangement, from Ty Cerdd
